Upcoming Public Walks
You’ll notice that three ticket options are available for each event.
This sliding scale is offered to help make these experiences more accessible while also supporting the sustainability of this work. Please choose the option that best reflects your current circumstances.
All participants receive the same experience, no matter which option you choose.
-
Supporter – If you’re able to pay a little more, this option helps make the walks more accessible for others. Your generosity directly supports lower-cost spots in the community.
-
Standard – This is the true cost of the walk and supports fair compensation for time, planning, and operating costs. Choose this if it feels doable for you.
-
Community Supported – A reduced-cost option for those who need it. If finances are tight right now, this ticket hopefully helps keep these walks within reach.
A Few Things to Know:
-
For walks held at Griffith Woods Park, our meeting spot is not at the main parking lot. We’ll be meeting at the end of Discover Ridge Lane SW (just south of Discovery Ridge Blvd SW). Free public parking is available on this street and in the surrounding neighbourhood. Full meeting details will be provided after registration.
-
Participants must be 18 years of age or older to participate.
-
To ensure everyone's safety and comfort, pets are not permitted to join.
"Going into my first forest therapy walk, I wasn’t sure what to expect or how it would differ from my usual walks in nature. It proved to be a special experience—an afternoon spent with a wonderful group of individuals of all ages, guided by Ken’s calm and welcoming approach. Since that walk, I’ve noticed a new sense of awareness and appreciation during my time in nature."
